Hall Wines in Napa Valley: Art That Makes You Smile

Bunny Foo Foo by Lawrence Argent

Whenever I think of HALL Wines, I think happy. One can never drive past the leaping 35-foot Bunny Foo Foo without smiling, or leave a tour of their St. Helena or Rutherford wineries without lifted spirits. And it’s all because of the art. Large-scale, eye-popping, colorful and statement art that’s integrated perfectly throughout the properties. What ties the art to the visceral experience of HALL is that it’s a truly world-class, focused art collection curated by the owners themselves, Kathryn and Craig Hall. When I asked Kathryn once about the collection, she said simply that she likes art “that makes you smile”.

At 70 feet in height, it would be the largest art installation ever in the Napa Valley!

Or that’s what Lisa told me anyway.

Happy April Foo Foo!

What a great way to launch Napa Valley Arts in April, with HALL that makes you smile!
