Stephane Derenoncourt, deemed the “world’s hottest winemaker” by Wine Spectator last November, will release his 2007 Derenoncourt California wines at a dinner and fundraiser for Wine to Water at Las Vegas restaurant Twist by Pierre Gagnaire on March 3rd.
Wine to Water is an international aid organization that seeks to help the more than 1 billion people in the world who don’t have access to adequate or sanitary water, leading to water-related childhood deaths every 20 seconds. To date, they have helped communities in nine underdeveloped countries obtain clean water by drilling wells and providing filtration systems.
The exclusive dinner, prepared by three star Michelin Chef Pierre Gagnaire, will feature six courses expertly paired with Derenoncourt’s six 2007 releases, including the new Derenoncourt California Cabernet Sauvignon Tâche d’encre from Ink Grade Vineyard atop Howell Mountain.
In addition to the dinner, Derenoncourt California has committed to contribute 10% of all wine sales for the month of March to the non-profit. The limited 2007 wines will be offered by allocation to those on Derenoncourt California’s website mailing list as of early March.
If you would like to meet Stephane Derenoncourt and Wine to Water founder Doc Hendley at the 2007 release event and fundraiser in Las Vegas, please contact Stephen George at email@example.com. The cost of the dinner is $300/person of which a tax-deductible $200 will go towards the charity.
